Nutritional Fuzzy Slipper Calls

This is an archive of an ongoing series of Fuzzy Slipper calls.  These are 60 minute calls on various health related topics presented by experts from the relevant fields.  Typically, the first part of the call is general information that provides natural solutions related to diet, exercise and other lifestyle choices.  The second part outlines product specific solutions in the area of nutritional supplementation utilizing the brand of products that we market.

"Couch to Concrete" - Women's Sports Nutrition

We've noticed that many of the women who begin an exercise program become frustrated because they don't feel as if they are getting the results they desire.  They're not sure where to begin with the "fitness piece," and they're confused as to how "sports nutrition" plays a part in getting them in shape!

This call focuses on Principles of Healthy Eating for people without a lot of time.  Join guest speakers, Cheri Swanson, CNC and Barb Lagoni, nutritionist, as they offer simple, practical tips for healthier eating.  

The American Institute for Cancer Research reports: “Poor eating habits are responsible for 1/3 of all cancer which is roughly the same proportion attributed to smoking”   

Dr. Gabriel Feldman from the American Cancer Society Director of prostate and colorectal cancer, “We don’t need years of research. If people would implement what we know today about foods cancer rates would drop.  It’s that simple”.

Hormone Balancing Call

This call focuses on natural solutions to hormone balancing with guest speaker, Cheri Swanson.   Cheri lives in Corona Del Mar California and is a Certified Nutritional Consultant.  She received  training at Loma Linda Medical School and has been consulting and lecturing for over 30 years.  Cheri is unique because her training bridges both the traditional medical community and the less traditional, nutritional supplement support for a wide variety of medical conditions.
